  The Grasshopper 'IN' The Shoe Box

  i came across this story and it had to do with people who yell, scream and bitch about everything in life, and they can't and don't 'do' anything about it.

  this fisherman (dave)picked up a newly fisherman (paul)in his community one early morning, and on route to their destination, which was some distance, paul noticed a shoe box on the front seat.

  he also heard lots of noises in the shoe box.

  i just got a major shock.

  i can't believe the new levels of cruelty possible within families who are jws.. a friend on this board who i've known since i was a baby practically has managed to get me a picture of my little sister who i haven't seen for 8 years - the one who i've mentioned my dad said was working on the bethel quick build team.

  the one who i've described my fears that she and my younger sister are staying single until armageddon.

  Just never allow yourself to be used as a doormat. I've found being mamby pamby around Witlesses doesn't work. You need to grab them by the throat, shake them around a little bit, and tell what the program is going to be. Otherwise the preprogrammed BS kicks in. Until you can get through to them, nothing works. Rocking their world seems to be the only way to get through to them.
  
  The only resolution I've seen with the "kill em with kindness" is a raft of your Tupperware missing from the funeral where the Witlesses still walked all over you and acted like you weren't there, AND stole your Tupperware...leaving you with a raft of unsaid, unsettled things to the person you had so much to say to. Also, negotiate from a position of strength always. Otherwise, you are like a beggar scrounging for whatever scraps of love they will toss in your direction.
  
  Hang in their Crumpet.....things eventually get better.

  if you were to come face to face with god tomorrow, what would you ask him/her/it????.

  i know its probably been done before, but ive really been thinking about this lately.... i would ask him why he allows so many bad things to happen???

  why are there kids starving to death in africa, whilest i can eat and eat and eat till im sick???

  I guess since I'm the alpha male of the family it hard to fathom my own parents from trying to shun me. But I was serious about the nursing home threat. LOL. Old people (those over 60) get terrified of old folks homes. Use any threat you see fit to. LOL. Sorry I'm not being a very good Buddhist tonight, but I'm tired and cranky.

  Nate....well the WTBS said to go excercise and work out or go for a run when the urge to masturbate hits. So I guess the WTBS helped me get started on my physical training. Now, I'm just an endophin junkie I guess. LOL.

  [dear randy, i stumbled upon your website, stories from the watchtower world, a few years ago.

  i wished to write and inform you that the content has helped me a great deal in coming to terms with the loss of a faith that constituted my entire frame of mind.

  technically i left the organization when i was 14 but i didnt truly take back my heart and mind until around 20-21 years of age.
